About Integrated Energy Solutions Integrated Energy Solutions was started by a small group of adventurous and visionary job seekers from the Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group. At their first meeting in a local restaurant, they formed the Scioto Ridge Venture Group to explore business Ideas. The group held several meetings in short order. Drawing entirely on the Scioto Ridge Job networking group, the founding five members recruited some of the most talented and passionate people ever to come together in the same corporate arena. They then set about further defining their goals, and the selection of one highly lucrative, and socially concious road to follow. After settling on energy as the path to the future, the group set to work developing a business plan, creating a corporate structure, and attending to the thousands of small details necessary to start a business. With the mutually agreeable goals of curing this nations energy woes, paying household bills, and securing 7 series BMWs for all board members, the nascent company went seeking visionary investors, business plan firmly in hand. The idea sent shock waves throughout the investment world. With the securing of almost $450 million in funding from private investors and government grant programs, their success was assured. The company was incorporated in August of 2009, and promptly set to work to resolve energy issues, pay bills, and visit the local car dealer. Through an aggressive marketing campaign centered on educating and informing the public on the many advantages of alternative energy, the IES customer base quickly grew. By the fall of 2010 IES had installed 45,000 alternative Solar and wind power systems throughout the state of Ohio. These systems have been responsible for reducing the amount of electricity generated by coal in Ohio an astounding 6 percent. But, IES is not resting on it's laurels. |
IES now employs over 1200 engineers, designers, energy experts, consultants, technicians and trades people at it's 110,000 square foot headquarters in Westerville. The company continues to spread it's message of energy independence, while developing and installing the technology to accomplish that goal. It's growing research staff, comprised of many of the top scientists and researchers in the energy arena, is aggressively pursuing new technologies, and ways to further reduce societies dependence on fossil fuels. It's recently introduced 'Power Wheels' EV Charging station is well on the way to making Hybrid and Electric vehicles viable for the average household. It's new line of 'EcoTrak' electric lawn and garden equipment is reducing the noise, hassle, and pollution associated with lawn and garden maintenance. It's new Bio Fuels division is aggressively working on ways to reduce the costs and environmental impact of long distance travel and transportation.
Recently recognized by the Obama administration as Americas greatest hope for a clean energy future, IES continues to pursue it's goals of clean and inexpensive energy for the future. From humble beginnings just five years ago, IES has grown into an energy powerhouse, and this country's, and the worlds, greatest corporate entity.
